ABOVE: This young lady doesn’t seem to be having much fun as she prepares to do a parade lap in an enduro car prior to the 100-lap enduro race at the Five-State Fair Tuesday evening. It’s hard to tell what the baby in dad’s lap is doing. Promoter Glen Thompson allowed all the children in the grandstands a chance to ride in the enduro cars during the parade laps if they had their parents’ approval.

LEFT: A track official checks for any safety violations as the parade lap gets the yellow light to proceed cautiously. After the children were all removed from the cars, the 100-lap enduro race began, and after about 50 laps, the crowd got really loud, cheering on their favorites all the way to the end.
