Liberal’s Kaci Younkin becomes Ratt’s ‘Youngest Fan’ PDF Print E-mail

Local Liberal resident Kaci Younkin, 5, was named the “youngest fan” of the ’80s rock group Ratt (Round and Round, Wanted Man) during a tour stop in Wichita over the weekend as part of their 30th anniversary tour. Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer picked Kaci out of the crowd as she held up a simple painted sign that read “Kaci Loves Ratt.” Kaci was treated to a backstage meet and greet with the band where they autographed her sign, posed for pictures and gave Kaci her first guitar picks. Even at 5 years old, Kaci is a ’80’s rock and roll fan who has already seen bands such as Van Halen, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick and Bon Jovi. Kaci is the daughter of KKBS FM’s ‘The Captain’ Matt Younkin. After this past weekend, Kaci will tell you that Ratt is definitely her favorite.
