Big second and fourth quarters were the difference in Tyrone’s 63-49 win over Balko in Saturday’s consolation championship of the Texhoma Tournament.

Tyrone needed a big second quarter to get back into the game after Balko jumped out to a 20-13 first quarter lead. Tyrone outscored the Bison 19-8 in the second to take a 32-28 lead at the half.

The game remained close with each team scoring 13 in the third.

But it was the Bobcats night as they outscored the Bison 18-8 in the finals stanza to win 63-49.

Tyrone’s Austin Olivas led the Bobcats with 26 points, and Travis Shield added 19.

Kolby Stephens led Balko with 29.
