JOHNSON – Nancy Ellen Josserand, 78, died July 13, 2013, at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.
She was born to Walter Edward and Edith (Scott) Daniels Nov. 24, 1934, in Garden City.
She married O.W. Josserand Jan. 2, 1953, in Clayton, N.M. He survives.
She graduated from Johnson High School in 1952.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Johnson and the Dust Bowl Ladies VFW Auxiliary.
She is also survived by four children, Cheryl and Troy Adams, Johnson; Ellen and Monty Marlin, Sublette; Jan and Steve Lindner, Rose Hill; Steven and Larilee Josserand, Garden City; one brother, Daryl and Sally Daniels; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Barbra Maerz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leland.
• A celebration of her life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Johnson, with the Rev. Janet Hernandez presiding.
Burial will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson.
Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
