A new style of racing came to Liberal Saturday when the King of the Hill Challenge hit the Seward County Speedway.

Cars were placed in a one-on-one race for two laps, and the winner, or King of the Hill, remained to face another challenger.

In the end, Michael Pepper took the King of the Hill title in the stock car division, and Jon Herring Jr., won the battle in the modifieds.
