HUGOTON – Donald R. Allen, 67, died Monday, July 8, 2013, in rural Stevens County, as the result of a car/truck accident.

He was born April 15, 1946, to James Leland and Hazel M. (Basler) Allen in Shoemaker, Calif.

He enjoyed his family. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include his mother; one son, Bryan and wife, Wendy, Allen, Tongonxie; one daughter, Becky Rowley and husband, Brian, Udall; two brothers, James A. Allen and wife, Patti, Garden City, and Larry E. Allen and wife, Becky; seven grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by father.

• Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God, Hugoton, with Pastor Richard Martin presiding.

Private burial will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and may be mailed to Paul’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
