Florence Mildred Ivie, 86, died Sunday at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born May 1, 1927, to Arlow E. and Minnie Henrietta (Wells) Johnson in Guymon, Okla.
She married Cecil S. Ivie Oct. 21, 1951, in Boise City, Okla. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from the Guymon High School with the Class of 1947. She attended Panhandle A&M College in Goodwell, graduating with a degree in teaching in 1951.
She was a member of the Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough, Okla.
She is survived by four children, Arletta June Ivie, Dalhart, Texas; Gary Lynn Ivie, Guymon; Lorraine Gale Ivie Morgan and husband, Nathan, Newton; Paul Warren Ivie,Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren: Briana Kathleen Kilpatrick Renich and husband, Dan, Park City; Craig Randall Kilpatrick and wife, Jennifer, Bartlesville, Okla.; Carl Alan Kilpatrick, USMC, San Diego, Calif.; Rachelle Ivie Morgan Norman and husband, Nicholas, Kansas City, Mo.; Joseph Sanders Morgan and wife, Dyan, Lawrence; Wesley Johnson Morgan and wife, Angela, Memphis, Tenn.; Davis Ditto Morgan, Everett, Wash.; two great-granddaughters, Alice Ella Norman and Cora Elise Renich; and friend, Denise Breeden, Houston, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough, Okla. with Rev. Jacki Banks officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hooker Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon.
Friends may call from 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 122 NE Seventh, Guymon.
Memorials are suggested to Morning Star United Methodist Church or to a charity of choice. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
