SUBLETTE – Ida Helen Birdsong, 91, died June 27, 2013.
She was born Jan. 3, 1922, to Robert H. Graves and Laversia Alexander Graves in Peacock, Texas.
She married John W. Birdsong Oct. 23, 1943, in Paris, Texas. He preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1968.
She attended Height Point School.
She worked at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal for 27 years.
She attended Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son, John W. Birdsong; her daughter in law, Eileen Birdsong; one grandson, Justin Birdsong; a granddaughter, Myndee Reed; three great-grandsons, Bryant Birdsong, Hayden Reed and his wife, Alyssa Reed, and Bryce Reed; four great-granddaughters, Erica Birdsong, Bethany Birdsong, Madyson Reed and Emylee Reed; and one great-greatgrandson, Caiden Reed.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
• Services will be at 3 p.m. today, at Liberal Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
