Walk-a-Thon shows support for grocery store in Plains PDF Print E-mail

Participants take their best shot at the caterpillar crawl Saturday afternoon at the Community Enhancement Foundation of Plains’ community walk-a-thon at the football field at Southwestern Heights. Alas, many of those who attempted the team-oriented activity found it to be tougher than they thought, with some getting tripped up and falling on the field. Proceeds from the event went to benefit the CEF’s Grand Avenue Market project to bring a grocery store to Plains. For more pictures of the walk-a-thon, see Wednesday’s LIVING PAGE.
