SOUTH HUTCHINSON – Warren Dallas Smith, 66, died June 21, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born February 12, 1947, to Maurice Boyd and Kathryn Cain Smith in Hutchinson. They preceded him in death. He married Sue Johnson September 30, 2000, in Hutchinson. She survives. He was a machinist at Eaton Corporation for 43 years as well as co-founder of the Eaton Gun Club. Warren had a lifetime membership with the NRA and was an avid hunter and bench rest shooter. He was also a member of Victorious Life Church for 15 years. Other survivors include daughters Christy Mundhenke and husband, Jeff, Hutchinson; Wendy Furbeck and husband, Darren, Dearborn, Missouri; mother in law, Dorothy Johnson; two step-sons; five grandchildren, Amanda Sierck, Ciara, Derek and Veronica Mundhenke, Dakota Bass; seven step-grandchildren, and a great-grand daughter due this month. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Nancy Barber Smith; son, Larry Smith; son-in-law, Eric Sierck; and his father-in-law, Johnny Jhonson. • At his request, his body was donated to the University of Kansas School of Medicine. A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Victorious Life Church, 1200 E. 10, with the reverend James Francis presiding. Friends may sign the book Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliot Mortuary.
