After falling behind 16-5 in the first half, South rallied to force overtime and went on to knock off the arch rival West Warrior 35-31 in double overtime.

South had every chance to win the game at the free throw line during regulation but only made 11 of 47 free throw attempts.

South had a three-point lead in the first overtime, but West’s Devon Hall hit a three-pointer to force a second overtime.

South was able to get a lead an hold it for the 35-31 win in the second overtime. South was led by  Pedro Lara who scored 12 points. Rex Heronemus scored 11, and Alejandro Bermudez scored 10.

West was led by Manuel Rubio with nine points, George Waiasa scored six, and Daniel Amador had six.
