After missing the seocnd semester last year due to injury, Latiq Agard is making the most of his second Saints season.

Agard scored 23 points Monday in a make-up game against Colby to help the Saints defeat ther Trojans 75-57 and stay perfect in Jayhawk West Conference action.

Seward moved to 5-0 in the conference, a game and a half ahead of Hutchinson and Pratt, two teams the Saints have already defeated.

The Saints continued to be a hot shooting team. The Saints shot 55 percent for the game.

But it was the defensive effort that may have helped Seward earnt he victory.

The Saints forced 16 Trojan turnovers while only committing nine of their own.

Seward held the Trojans to 42 percent shooting form the field for the game which included a secodn half where Colby only connected on 11 of 31 shots.

Tony Smith was only two points behind Agard witrh 21. Marcus James scored 17.

The Saints will travel to Dodge City Sunday before returning home Jan. 27 to host the Garden City Broncbusters.
