Having recently read a small book entitled, “The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration” written by Frank Gaffney, President and founder of the Center for Security Policy, I think I have some of the answers to why the Administration and the State Department changed the CIA’s initial accounts of what was happening – and what did happen – Sept. 11, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya.
This article was written in 2012, prior to the four murders of American diplomatic personnel at the U.S. Compound in Benghazi.
The entire crux of the piece centers on a study by the Center for Security Policy that five U.S. Representatives pointed out when asking federal inspectors general in June of that year whether individuals with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood (or Ikhwan in Arabic) are using their access to the Obama Administration to influence policy toward the Brotherhood and Islamists and their agenda. (The representatives were Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Tom Rooney, Lynn Westmoreland and Michele Bachman.)
The study shows how Islamists have infiltrated the Obama Administration using the Brotherhood’s stealth jihad against this country. They believe in destroying America by the word and by the sword.
Take Rashad Hussain, who was named Deputy Associate White House Counsel in January 2009. Obama praised him because Hussain has committed the entire Qur’ran to memory – which endears high praise among Sharia-adherent Muslims.
“Hussain has long been involved with various Muslim Brotherhood front organizations,” Gaffney wrote. Including the American Muslim Council and the International Institute of Islamic Thought (or IIIT), to which Sami al-Arian and Jamal Barzini have ties.
Barzini is a founding father of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and al-Arian “pleaded guilty in 2006 to organizing secret financial contributions to the Palestine Islamic Jihad, a terrorist group.”
Hussain was charged with helping Obama’s Muslim outreach efforts. He helped Obama draft the President’s first address to the Muslim world in 2009 at Cairo University in Egypt.
Hussain has also worked on ‘bridge building” initiatives with Suhail Khan, “another figure with Brotherhood ties who has also served in the Department of Transportation.”
Remember Obama’s speech where he said America is no longer a Christian Nation?
Then there is Dalia Mogahed. She has become very influential in the Obama Administration on issues involving Islam and Sharia. She joined the White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships in April 2009.
She is Egyptian-born but came to the states when she was 4.
Her influence comes from also working for the Gallup polling organization’s Muslim Studies as a senior analyst and the executive director.
Mogahed teamed with her mentor, John Esposito, who directs the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center at Georgetown University (a think tank funded by the Saudi royal family) to write a book entitled “Who Speaks For Islam.”
Nationally recognized scholars have accused the two of “cooking their data” to increase the number of Muslim “moderates” – counting as “moderate” Muslims who want Sharia Law.
Mogahed has regular access to the White House and is also a member of the Department of Homeland Security Working Group on Countering Violent Extremism.
She consistently uses “cooked” polling data showing how Muslims are non-violent, and it’s discrimination using terms like “Muslim extremists” to describe terrorists.
Then we have a man who is the Imam at the All-Dulles Area Muslim Society Center in Virginia – Mohamed Magid. It has seven branches throughout north Virginia and Washington D.C., making it the largest mosque complexes in the nation.
Although Magid was raised a devout adherent to Sharia, he has been praised as a “moderate” by Time Magazine in a Nov. 14, 2005, edition.
He has skillfully used this ruse to build relationships with the FBI, gain access to the Deputy National Security Advisor, the Attorney General and several of his subordinates, the Secretaries of Homeland Security, Treasury and State, the Defense Department and President Obama himself.
None of these individuals (or the groups they represent or are members of), can compare to the complete infiltration made by Huma Abedin, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff.
Abedin, born in the U.S. but moved to Saudi Arabia when she was 2, has direct and indirect ties to extremists in the Muslim Brotherhood, including her brother, her mother and her deceased father, according to Gaffney.
Prior to her becoming Hillary’s deputy, Abedin “herself was directly associated with a Brotherhood organization – the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs, which was founded and funded by Abdullah Omar Naseef, a major Muslim Brotherhood figure also involved in the financing of al Qaeda.”
Once she became Hillary’s deputy, her name was dropped from membership in the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs. Her shocking influence on Hillary and the State Department fill several pages in Gaffney’s book.
I, and others, wrote immediately after the Benghazi murders that the government’s “spin” wasn’t the truth about what happened. We have now heard from some who were there – proving several in the Administration have lied about it.
The full truth will come out in the end.
Wednesday evening, we found out people at the State Department and the White House both had a big hand in eliminating references to al Qaeda and other radical Islamists attacking our compound – eight weeks before a national election.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Abedin doesn’t show up as deputy chief of staff now in the state department directory.
