RICHFIELD – William James Ediger, 83, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Stanton County Hospital, Johnson.
He was born April 1, 1930, to Cornilus and Therasia (Wedel) Ediger in Beaver County, Okla.
He married Dorothy D. Brandes Aug. 12, 1955, in Clayton, N.M. She survives.
He was a member of Turpin Mennonite Church. Later, he became a member of the Richfield United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed teaching his boys how to drive tractors and farm.
Other survivors include two sons, Donald Ediger and wife, Lavon, Richfield, Howard Ediger and wife, Tonya, Hennessey, Okla.; two daughters, Annette Smith and husband Mark, Holcomb, and Norma Jean Jasman and husband, Joe, Anthem, Ariz.; two sisters, Milred Ormiston, Kismet, Connie Riddle, Clemente, Calif.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Camillo Joe.
• Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Richfield Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
