HUGOTON – Juanita Broaddus, 85, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at her home in Hugoton.
She was born April 15, 1928, to Albert and Lillie Fern (Hartman) Miller in Follett, Texas.
She married Charlie O. Broaddus Jr. Aug. 3, 1950, in Tucumcari, N.M. She survives.
He graduated from Amarillo High School in Amarillo, Texas.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Pollyanna and First Christian Church.
She enjoyed playing bridge on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Other survivors include sons, Charlie O Broaddus III and wife, Cynthia, Hugoton, and Mark K. Broaddus and wife Jennifer, Memphis, Tenn.; her daughters, Beverly E. Young and husband, (Ret) Col. Morris M., Niceville, Fla., Barbara C. McCaskell, Hugoton, and Virginia A. Martin and husband, Jeffrey D., Hugoton; and four grandchildren, Brandi Broaddus, Trinidad, Colo., Chip Broaddus, Woodward, Okla., George Martin, Concordia, and Sarah Martin, Hugoton.
He was preceded in death by her parents.
• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, with Pastor Randy Nash presiding.
Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.
