You can't have your best night out every night. Sometimes you have to just find a way to win. That's what the Beaver Dusters did Tuesday night in their come-from-behind 34-33 win over the Canadian Wildcats.

After trailing the entire game Beaver took their first lead with three minutes left in regulation.

"We were very fortunate to win," said Dusters head coach Brian Stalder. "We looked like we had the after tournament blues.

Beaver trailed after the first quarter 9-8, and fell further behind in the second quarter, trailing 21-13 at the half.

The Dusters showed their first signs of life in the third quarter, but were still only able to cut into the Wildcats lead by one. Canadian led 30-23 heading into the final period.

Beaver was able to clamp down defensively and held Canadian to only three points and escaped with the one point win.

The Dusters did not do themselves any favors at the free throw line making only 4-of-14.

One statistical oddity was that eleven of Beaver's twelve players scored, but only one scored more than 3 (Samuel Becker, 12 points).
