It was another tough night for the Turpin Lady Cardinals losing to the Boise City Lady Wildcats 67-23.

Boise City jumped out to an 18-0 lead after one quarter, and led 23-1 midway through the second. Turpin trailed at the half, 35-5.

The Lady Cardinals did have better luck at the offensive end in the second half, scoring 18 points. But Boise City had way too much for Turpin to handle and won 67-23.

Despite the lopsided loss, Coach Fox is trying to find some positives.

"I'm seeing some improvements, with players getting to the right spots. We just have a long ways to go."

Raegan Alvarez led the Cardinals with 7 points, and Dakota Moon added 6. Turpin host Texhoma Friday.
