Jo Biddle, 69, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. 

She was born June 23,1939, to William and Edith (Chapman) Ackors in Phoenix. 

She married Sid Biddle in 1960. He die June 6, 1994.

Since 2000, Jo was employed by the Guymon School District as a paraprofessional at Academy and Salyer schools.

She was a member of Church of the Nazarene. She served on the board of directors and as missionary president. 

She served on the boards of Next Step Network and United Way. She was also instrumental as a member of Women’s Ministries, Hospice Team and Crisis Intervention Team. 

She managed the Guymon (Okla.) Swim Team concessions for thirteen years, coached Kids’ Inc. T-ball, organized the first Special Olympics in the Panhandle area, and established Kids Caught in the Middle. She was a Girl Scout leader for 30 years. 

She is survived by three children, Wendy Pritchard and Steve Biddle, Guymon, and Cydni Farrell and husband, Keith, Orange, Texas; three granddaughters, Julie Brandenburg, Spring, Texas, Megan Farrell, Oklahoma City, and Macy Pritchard, Guymon; two great-grandsons, Cale and Peyton Brandenburg, Spring.

o Funeral services will be at at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Guymon Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Wayne Dawson and the Rev. Terry Armstrong presiding. 

Burial will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. 

Memorials are suggested to the Church of the Nazarene Children’s Playground Fund and will be accepted at the church office or the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
