• Special to the Leader & Times
Brenneman Funeral Home has strived to bring the best of funeral care to Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle. Having total trust and confidence in the community’s funeral home is a must because of the unique vulnerability a family is in at a time of death of a loved one.
Knowing those that respond are fully licensed and experienced to handle any situation is a level of comfort people can count on from Brenneman Funeral Home. Assuring people of the availability of experienced staff and a facility that is modern and inviting, is a promise they trust.
In continuing with that tradition, Brenneman Funeral Home has welcomed Bryce Peterson to its staff in March.
Peterson, as a licensed funeral director, understands service and compassion is at the heart of all funeral care. As a licensed embalmer, he feels strongly that service encompasses so much, from the immediate response to a death no matter the hour, day or night, to the leadership and guidance through the decision making process of arranging a funeral service.
The “ministry” of funeral service and the importance of personalization are important to Peterson. He is devoted to making sure every last detail is handled with the upmost dignity and care families deserve.
Peterson graduated in 2000, from Kansas City Kansas Community College with an Associate’s in Applied Science degree in Mortuary Arts. After graduating and passing the National Funeral Service Board exam, he served his apprenticeship to obtain licenses as a funeral director and embalmer in the state of Kansas. He had gained much experience having worked in the Kansas City area.
Peterson returned to southwest Kansas to his hometown of Hugoton along with his wife, Emily, and his two sons. Peterson said he is proud to be with Brenneman Funeral Home and is committed to excellence in funeral service.
