Obituary

Donald H. Scott, 86, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Wheatridge Park Care Center.

He was born April 29, 1926, to Frank and Faye (Thompson) Scott in Syracuse.

He married Rosalee “Rose”  McCarter Dec. 26, 1950, in Tucumcari, N.M.  She survives.

He attended Liberal schools.  He was a carpenter for Johns Construction and Cox Construction.  He was retired.

He was a member of the South Church of God, Skyhawk Model Airplane Club and the VFW. He was a WWII naval veteran.

Other survivors include two sons, Terry Scott and wife, Krista, Olathe, and Bruce Scott and wife, Rhonda, Harrisonville, Mo.; one daughter, Pam Cammarn, League City, Texas; and one sister, Lois Higgins and husband, Dale, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the South Church of God with Pastor Rusty Callahan.

Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:30 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the South Church of God in care of Miller Mortuary.
