Obituary

Roe Ann Cushenberry, 78, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Homestead Nursing Home in Sherman.

She was born Feb. 19, 1935, to Artemus and Leona (Lindsey) Hayse in Greensburg.

She was married three times.

She graduated from Mullinville High School in Mullinville.

She worked at Cross Manufacturing,     was an operator for “Ma Bell” and a cook at the Kansan Motel in Greensburg.  She worked for several years for the Medicine Lodge school district as a cook in the school cafeteria and also cooked at a restaurant in Medicine Lodge.

She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, raising children and grandchildren, country music, RFDTV and Hee Haw.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Zimmerman, Billings, Mont., and Randy Decker and wife, Gina,  Whitewright, Texas; two daughters, Cynthia Anderson, Eureka Springs, Ark., and Debra Boyett, Seattle; three brothers, Frank Hayse and wife, Merlyn, Wellington, John Hayse and his lady, Kelly, Abilene, Texas, and Merlin Hayse and wife, Brenda, Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Jean Shuck and husband, Ed, Wichita;  13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles (Bub) Hayse.
