HUGOTON – Donna Belle Sutton, 87, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born June 2, 1922, to Everette and Hulda (Michael) Rasler in Moscow.
She married David Merle “Sutton” May 20, 1939, in Liberal. He died Jan. 14, 1990.
She was a homemaker. She cooked for Hugoton Elementary.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hugoton.
Survivors include one son, Ron Sutton and wife, Rebecca, Paolo; two daughters, Donita Graham and husband, Dan, Hugoton, and Carol Campbell and husband, Terry, Hugoton; eight grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Hank Staples, Hugoton; one daughter-in-law, Janet Sutton, Hugoton; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bill Sutton; one brother, Olin Rasler; three sisters, Goldie Kerns, Dorothy Staples and Norma Heston; and two grandchildren, Virginia Campbell and David Ayers.
o Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at the First Christian Church in Hugoton with Minister Randy Nash presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
