TURPIN, Okla. – Imogene Studdard, 78, died January 7, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

She was born May 6, 1931, to Everett and Laura Loncor in Beaver, Okla.

She graduated high school in 1948 at Beaver, attended nursing school and was a LPN at Epworth Hospital. She drove truck for Groendyke Transport for 25 years and retired in 1974.

She is survived by her husband George Curry, Turpin; two daughters, Tarra Studdard, Loveland, Colo.; Rhonda Martinez, San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Barbara Hagar and husband, Jerry, Ford; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
