With the end of winter sports, the Western Athletic Conferecne has announced the top athletes in basketball and wrestling.

Jai Chapman earn All-WAC first-team honors for girls basketball. The Lady Redskin junior joined Garden City’s Taryn Tempel (junior) and Jayme Bernbeck (sophomore), Hays’ Kaitlin Schumacher (senior) and Great Bend junior Morgan Harwood.

JJ Lewis earned first team All-WAC honors. The Redskin senior joined Brady Werth, sophomore, Hays, Bo Banner, senior, Garden City, Jace Larson, junior, Dodge City, and Ethan Henderson, senior, Great Bend on the first team.

Senior William Ross made the All-WAC honorable mention team.

Liberal seniors Ayodale Braimah and Trenton Wilson earned All-WAC honorable mentions in wrestling.
