Two Liberal wrestlers advanced to the second day of competition Saturday, but both lost to end the Redskin run at the state wrestling tournament in Wichita.
Ayodale Braimah dropped an 8-0 decision to top-seeded Dalton Peteres from SNAC in the 145-pound weight class.
Trenton Wilson also ended with a 1-2 record at the state tournament after dropping an overtime match to Kapaun Mt. Carmel’s Nick Nece, 4-2.
