JJ Lewis signed this week to play football at Fort Hays State University in the fall.  Lewis was a wide receiver and had a total of 41 catches for 579 yards and six touchdowns his senior year. He also played outside linebacker and had a total of 30 tackles. He was All-Western Athletic Conference Honorable Mention his senior season. Lewis used his size and speed to create space as a receiver. Lewis also demonstrated the ability to gain yards ofter the catch, usually streaking down the sideline.
