LUBBOCK, Texas – Everette “Lee” Keen, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

He was born May 9, 1925, in O’Donnell, Texas.

He was an owner of West Texas Millwright for many years.

He served as an elsder in the local Caprock Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma, Keen; stepdaughters, Pamela Huff, Shellie Weidemann and Julie Morris; brothers and Harold Keen, Plainview, Texas, and Mearl Dean Keen; sister, Betty Langford and husband, Richard, Liberal; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his  parents, William Roy Keen and Gracie Keen, his son, Charles Lee Keen, six brothers and four sisters.

o Memorial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Caprock Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 2500 80th Street in Lubbock, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for the world wide work to the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2500 80th Street, Lubbock, TX 79423.
