Hooker 51, Hardesty 22 (girls)

The Hooker Lady Bulldogs wasted little time with the Lady Bison, starting the game with a 14-4 first quarter. Hooker added to their lead in the second, and led 27-13 at half.

A 12-2 third made the margin 24 heading into the fourth where the Lady Bulldogs played mostly subs.

Jade Cathcart and Dana Jiminez each scored 12, and Shania Miller added 11. Eleven different Lady Bulldogs scored.

Hooker (13-4) advances to the semifinals where they will face tournament host Texhoma, today at 6:30.

Hooker 67, Hardesty 20

The Hooker Bulldogs overwhelmed the undermanned Bison in the first round matchup.

Hooker led 16-6 after one quarter, and outscored Hardesty 17-3 in the second to lead 33-9 at half.

A 22-4 third quarter put the Bulldogs up by 32 (39-7).

Joe Bean led Hooker with 24 points as a total of 13 Bulldogs scored.

Hooker (14-3) will take on Turpin (7-10) today at 5:15.
