Ruth M. Witzke, 81, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 23, 1931, to Irving and Velma Toot Grabeel in Liberal.

She married David Witzke in 1953. He died Feb. 16, 1972.

She is survived by two sons, Rodney Witzke, Olathe, and Jim Witzke, Olathe; two daughters, Linda Kowing, Dumas, Texas, and Sharon Witzke, Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Hazel Bishop, Oklahoma City, and Ila Fern Oyler, Liberal; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Witzke, and sister, Cora Mae Kanipe.

o Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Miller Mortuary.
