Obituary

Ward “Junior” Pippitt, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born May 21, 1937, the youngest of seven children to Ward and Dolly Pippitt in Plains.

He married Sharon Smith July 30, 1972, in Las Vegas. She died Jan. 29, 2001.

He graduated from Plains High School, in 1956.

He was a farmer and employed by Buller Farms for many years. From 1989, until just recently, he was a staff assistant with Gatlin Auction.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendi Herron and husband, Bill, Kaw City, Okla., and Jami Igo,  Cordell, Okla.; and three grandchildren, Andrew Pippitt, Aurora, Colo., Tierra Sealey and Sydnee Sealey, Cordell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel, with Ryan Buller presiding.

Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Brenneman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.
