HUGOTON – Dan H. Graham, 77, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born July 30, 1935, to James and Dorothy (Clinton) Graham in Friend.
He married Donita Sutton March 12, 1992, in Hugoton. She survives.
He joined the Air Force during the Korean War. After his service in the military, He worked in the oil field service. He also worked as a truck driver, diesel mechanic and as a bus driver. He worked until retirement for Southwest Express as a mechanic.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He is also survived by his son, Carl Austin, Maumelle, Ark.; daughters, Gayle and husband, Chuck Norton, Maumelle, Sandy Graham and Joy Ayers, Hugoton; brothers, Preston Graham, Waxahachie, Texas, Richard Graham, Guymon, Okla., and Willie Graham, Stratford, Mo.; sisters, Ada Turley, Salida, Colo., Eva Smith, Scott City, Janie Benish, Spearville, and Sarah Ann Graham, Menahga, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: brother, Carl Graham: sisters, Jo Shaffer, Glenda Massey, Doris Graham and Rose Elliott, Marlene Bilson; and mother-in-law, Donna Sutton.
o Funeral service were at 10 a.m. today at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, with the Rev. Randy Nash presiding.
Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery.
