TYRONE, Okla. – Norman Jack Bishop, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at his residence in Tyrone, Okla.
He was born July 6, 1929, to John & Dorothy (Ludlow) Bishop in Grand Rapids, Mich.
He married Eula Ann Massie Dec. 15, 1978, in Oklahoma City. She died Dec. 11.
He graduated from high school and attended college.
He worked for many years as an self-employed carpenter. He serviced in the U.S. Navy from January 1946 to November 1946.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Jack Bishop, Liberal; two daughters, Terri Bishop Grand Rapids, and Beth Bishop, Rochester Hills, Mich.; step-daughters, Elizabeth McCauley Wellington, and Ruby Trimpe, Hooker, Okla.; one sister, Louise Kreiner, Clayton, Okla.; three grandchildren, Melissa Sue Blakely, Michael Keith Bishop and David Richard Wells; four step-grandchildren, Tessa Burns, Brady Davis Riley Dean Trimpe and Dylan DeFer; and four step great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by parents and one son, Brian Bishop.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Ford presiding.
Burial will take place at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
