Teenage girl crashes into building in Ulysses PDF Print E-mail

A teenage girl was hospitalized early Saturday morning after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a building in Ulysses.
Jennifer Hernandez, 17, of Ulysses, was northbound around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at a high rate of speed on Stubbs Road in a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. She failed to stop at the intersection at U160 and lost control of the vehicle and rolled it and ending up crashing into a building.
The report noted she was wearing a safety restraint, but was transported to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses for treatment of her injuries.
