Nicholas Eugene Chaffin, 24, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in rural Haskell County.
He was born Nov. 1, 1988, to Victor Chaffin and Gina Spanier Chaffin in Garden City.
He graduated from Sublette High School in 2008. He then graduated from Seward County Community College/Area Technical School in 2010.
He was a farmer.
He was a member of God’s New Covenant Church.
He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his grandparents, Betty Chaffin, Sublette, and Ronald and Sharon Spanier, Copeland; his father; his mother; his brother, John Chaffin and wife, Robyn, Wichita; three sisters, Ashley Chaffin, Sublette, Veronica Chaffin and Carter Cullison, Moscow, and Alexis Spanier, Sublette; his godmother, Mary Knief; and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Henry “John” Chaffin, and his brother, Andru Chaffin.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sublette Christian Church, with Pastor David Erwin and Pastor Craig Atkinson presiding.
Burial will be at the Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Sublette Christian Church.
